Robert P. Mascali

ROBERT P. MASCALI received his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 1976 and was admitted to practice in the State of New York, the Southern District of New York and Eastern District of New York Federal courts in 1977.

Mr. Mascali served as Managing Attorney for the New York State Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities from 1997 to 2008 and during his tenure there he acquired substantial knowledge and experience in the areas of non-profit governance, governmental contracts and procurements, and estate and related planning issues for families and individuals with special needs.

Prior to his public sector service, Bob was in private practice in the New York metropolitan area from 1980 to 1994 with the firm of Cohen, Jason and Mascali (Scarsdale, New York), of which he was a founding partner, and the firm of Pirro, Collier, Cohen and Halpern (White Plains, New York) from 1995 to 1997. During more than 20 years in private practice, Bob concentrated in the areas of real estate and land use development, estate planning and administration and general corporate representation. Mr. Mascali presently serves on the board of Parsons Child and Family Center in Albany, New York and is the chairman of its Audit Committee.

Bob’s unique combination of public and private sector experience permits him to engage in a number of varied transactional and individual matters involving private, public and non profit clients.
